Freeman will accept crated, boxed, or skidded materials beginning October 13, 2008 at the above address. Material arriving after October 31, 2008 will be received at the warehouse with an additional after deadline charge.
Freeman will receive shipments at the facility according to the Target Plan. Any charges incurred for early freight accepted by the facility will be the responsibility of the exhibitor.
The following information will assist you in the outbound shipment of your freight.
Exhibiting companies must confirm with their carriers on pick-up dates for outbound shipping at show site. It is not an automatic service. If you do not know who is picking up your shipment, do not assume it has been arranged for. Exhibiting companies can select any carrier. Freeman Transportation representatives will be available at the Service Desk to assist you with any questions about outbound shipping. Rate schedules for services and delivery date information will be available from a Freeman Transportation representative. All carriers must check in by Friday, November 21, 2008 at 10:00am.
A MATERIAL HANDLING AGREEMENT (BILL OF LADING) MUST ACCOMPANY ALL SHIPMENTS. Outbound Material Handling Agreements and shipping labels are available at the Freeman Service Desk. ALL MATERIAL HANDLING AGREEMENTS MUST BE TURNED IN AT THE SERVICE DESK ONCE YOUR SHIPMENTS ARE PACKED, LABELED AND READY TO BE LOADED. DO NOT LEAVE MATERIAL HANDLING AGREEMENTS IN YOUR BOOTH!
Cars, station wagons, and pick-up trucks will be loaded at a specified POV (Privately Owned Vehicle) dock. These vehicles still need to check in at the Marshaling Yard before being sent to the POV dock for loading. Note: POVs will NOT be allowed near the building until after the show closes.
Property Passes allow for exhibit property removal. Authorized Passes allow the Exhibitor (or the bearer) to remove material from the exhibit hall when complete with a full description of the property that is being removed. These passes are available exclusively for use by each Exhibitor. Any loss or misuse is the Exhibitor’s responsibility. Passes, if lost, may not be replaced without proper identification. Maintain control of your Property Pass at all times, since it allows the bearer to remove items from your booth. Exhibitors may authorize removal of their own property. Do not release your Property Pass to Security. Keep possession of the pass at all times. Property Passes will be distributed by Show Management onsite.
Anyone caught removing another’s property from the building is subject to prosecution. Exhibitors are urged not to give away their products to visitors, other exhibitors, models, or union personnel. This causes embarrassing delays and unnecessary confusion. Treat release forms as cash. If they get into the wrong hands they can be used fraudulently.
Liability and Insurance for Exhibitor Materials is the responsibility of the exhibitor. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BOOTH UNATTENDED AT THE CLOSE OF THE SHOW. These few hours are crucial for security. Remain in your booth until your dismantling and packing is completed. Be sure you make all arrangements for your outbound shipping prior to leaving the show floor.
NOTE: Exhibitors Are Responsible for Their Products and Display Until Loaded Onto Outbound Carriers.
