Exhibiting CompanyThe following information will assist you in the outbound shipment of your freight.
Exhibiting companies must confirm with their carriers on pick-up dates for outbound shipping at show site. It is not an automatic service. If you do not know who is picking up your shipment, do not assume it has been arranged for. Exhibiting companies can select any carrier. GES Exposition Services Transportation Services representatives will be available at the Service Desk on Tuesday, May 19 to assist you with any questions. Freight not called for by 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19 will be routed through GES Exposition Services. Review the GES Important Freight Guidelines for Hawaii information thoroughly.
Outbound Material Handling Agreements and shipping labels are available at the GES Exposition Services Service Desk. ALL MATERIAL HANDLING AGREEMENTS MUST BE TURNED IN AT THE SERVICE DESK ONCE YOUR SHIPMENTS ARE PACKED, LABELED AND READY TO BE LOADED. DO NOT LEAVE MATERIAL HANDLING AGREEMENTS IN YOUR BOOTH!
Personally Owned Vehicle deliveries have two options:
Product Release Forms are required for all carry-outs. Product Release Form information and "check point" locations will be provided via additional dismantling instruction which will be delivered to your booth duringshowdays. Forms can be obtained beginning at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the show Security Office.
Exhibitors may remove hand carried items at noon on Tuesday, May 19 (accompanied by product release forms) but only those items which can be hand-carried in one trip, by one individual. NO hand truck, cart, dolly or equipment on wheels may be used.
Anyone caught removing another's property from the building is subject to prosecution. Exhibitors are urged not to give away their products to visitors, other exhibitors, models, or union personnel. This causes embarrassing delays and unnecessary confusion. Treat release forms as cash. If they get into the wrong hands they can be used fraudulently.
Liability and insurance for exhibitor materials is the responsibility of the exhibitor. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BOOTH UNATTENDED AT THE CLOSE OF THE SHOW. These few hours are crucial for security. Remain in your booth until the dismantling and packing of your exhibit is completed. Be sure you make all arrangements for your outbound shipping prior to leaving the show floor.
NOTE: EXHIBITORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR PRODUCTS AND DISPLAY UNTIL LOADED ONTO OUTBOUND CARRIERS.
