Admission to the Exhibit Floor
Due to insurance liabilities, no person under the age of 18 will be admitted to the exhibit floor during set-up or tear-down hours. During open show hours, no one under the age of 16 will be admitted. This rule will be strictly enforced. All persons on the exhibit floor must have proper registration credentials.
Aisles
All aisle space belongs to the Exposition. No exhibit or advertisement will be allowed to extend beyond the space assigned to the exhibitor. Any demonstration or activity which results in the obstruction of aisles or prevents ready access to neighboring exhibitors' booths shall be suspended for any period specified by Show Management.
Balloons
The display and distribution of balloons will not be allowed at any time within the exhibit hall. Balloons create many housekeeping problems and are particularly detrimental to the fire detection systems installed in the exhibit hall. Their use is strictly prohibited.
Booth Equipment and Services
The following booth equipment, services and facilities are included free of charge:
- Draperies suspended on aluminum uprights and stanchions. The drapery background is blue and white drape, 8 feet high. The side rails are blue drape, 33 inches high.
- Standard booth sign measuring 7 inches by 44 inches, black letters on white card, upon which is printed the company name and booth number.
- Green booth carpeting.
- Credentials for your full-time exhibit personnel.
- Complimentary listing in the Final Program Exhibits Directory.
- General lighting.
- Removal, storage, and return of empty boxes, cartons, crates, and skids.
- Carpeting of all aisles in the exhibit hall.
- Twenty-four hour general hall security.
Please note that material handling (shipping/drayage) is not included with your booth. Tables, furniture, etc., can be obtained at an additional rental charge through the Official Service Contractors. Please refer to Question 1 of the Frequently Asked Questions for a guideline on other items you may need to purchase.
Cancellations
Except as expressly set forth in the Payment Schedule paragraph on the Application and Contract for Exhibit Space, Show management shall make no refunds of monies paid pursuant to that paragraph. If an exhibitor's written notice of cancellation is received by November 30, 2007 then Show Management shall refund to the exhibitor an amount equal to the amount the exhibitor has already paid less a $200 cancellation fee for each 10 ft. × 10 ft. booth space canceled in the Show. Under no circumstances will a refund be made if cancellation occurs after November 30, 2007. If the Show is canceled or postponed by reasons of an Act of God, catastrophe, or other occurrence beyond the control of Show Management, exhibitor shall be refunded that portion of its payment which has been made for the Show.
Catering
The Palm Beach County Convention Center has exclusive food, beverage and liquor distribution rights within the facility. All food, beverage and liquor items used to generate traffic to a specific booth must be purchased through the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Crate Storage
Empty crates, boxes, skids, etc. that exhibitors have labeled "Empty" will automatically be removed from exhibitors' booths, stored and returned at the conclusion of the Exhibition. "Empty" stickers will be available at the Service Desk. There is no charge for this service. No storage of any kind will be permitted behind your display.
Damage to Property
Exhibitors are responsible for damage to uncrated or improperly packed shipments, concealed damage, loss or theft of material after delivery to booth or before material is picked up for return movement. It is expressly understood that the exhibitor will make no claim of any kind against Show Management for any loss, damage or destruction of goods, nor for any damage of any nature to his business by reason of the failure to provide space for any exhibit or the removal of the exhibit.
Early Dismantling
No exhibitor will be allowed to dismantle any portion of their exhibit prior to the end of exhibit hours on the final day of exhibits. This is a discourtesy to those attending the Show and to your neighboring exhibitors.
Exhibitor Registration Area
Located in the Palm Beach County Convention Center, personnel at the registration counters will be available to accept your on-site badge requests and badge pick-up. Any badge changes may also be taken care of at registration also.
Exhibitor Service Desk
The Service Desk will be located in the Exhibit Hall. All contractors and production personnel can be found here. In addition, all on-site production services such as decorating, furniture, floor covering, shipping, material handling, electrical, telephone, display labor, special cleaning, porters, signs, floral and audio-visual requirements can be arranged here.
First Aid
Emergency first aid is available from 8:00am-5:00pm each day during set-up, show-time, and dismantle.
Media Representatives Zero-Tolerance Policy for On-Site Soliciting
Tradeshow and Trade Press representatives are reminded that the following activities are prohibited during the 2008 CLOSETS & HOME ORGANIZATION CONFERENCE & EXPO™:
- Discussing opportunities or distributing literature with the sole purpose of soliciting advertising or trade show/conference participation.
- Setting up appointments between exhibitors and publication representatives for further on- or off-site business dealings.
Anyone found conducting such practices without prior, written consent from show management may have their credentials revoked and be removed from the premises for the duration of the show.

No Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted in the Exhibit Halls or other conference sessions.
Parking
Currently, the Convention Center offers parking for $5.00. (Rates subject to change.)
Program Listing Information
Exhibitors will be listed in the 2008 CLOSETS & HOME ORGANIZATION CONFERENCE & EXPO™ Online Expo Planner and Directory of Exhibits provided that they submit their listing information to Hall-Erickson, Inc. by January 18, 2008. Every effort will be made to print listings accurately and completely. Show Management assumes no responsibility for any errors and omissions in the 2008 Exhibits Directory.

Program Distribution
Rules have been developed for the distribution of Official Programs to exhibitors. One Program will be distributed to each 10′ × 10′ space. If you need additional programs, please check at the Exhibitor's Registration Desk on the last day of the Show. If there are remaining programs, you are more than welcome to them.
Retail Sale of Goods & Services
Retail sales may be permitted in the hall, but it is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to comply with Federal, State and Local Laws, Regulations and Ordinances concerning such sales, including tax and license fees. Exhibitor agrees to hold Show Management, and the Palm Beach County Convention Center harmless with respect to such compliance.
Security
Entry to and exit from the exhibit area will be possible only through the main Show entrance and all persons entering and leaving must wear a badge issued by Show Management. During installation and dismantling periods, no one will be permitted in the exhibit area before published times. Lost or stolen property must be reported to the Security Office as soon as possible. Please remember that any claim must be properly documented in order to receive reimbursement from your insurance company.
