General Information
Age Limitation
No children under the age of 16 will be permitted on the exhibit floor at any time other than the Monday evening reception.
Balloons
The Las Vegas Convention Center strictly prohibits the use of helium filled balloons, either for displays, giveaways, exhibits or general public access. Balloons create numerous housekeeping problems and are particularly detrimental to the fire detection systems installed in the exhibit hall. Their use is strictly prohibited.
Booth Configuration Regulations
All booths will be confined to a maximum height of 8' and all display fixtures over 4' in height and placed within 10 lineal feet of an adjoining exhibit, must be confined to that area of the exhibitors' space which is not more than 5' out from the back line. Island and peninsula displays are permitted to a height of 16' and perimeter booths to a height of 12' when plans are submitted and approved by Show Management at least 60 days prior to the opening of the Show. Cameras/Videotaping
Attendees are not allowed to use cameras or recording devices. Exhibitors may only photograph or record their own booth and products.
Cleaning
Arrangements have been made for vacuuming of the aisles in the exhibit hall every night.

Contests, Raffles or Promotions
Exhibitors shall not permit exhibitions, raffles, donations or other promotional measures that require members or guests to be present at a specified location and time, and all unusual promotional plans must be approved by Show Management no later than 30 days prior to the Show.
Crate Storage
Empty crates, boxes, skids, etc. that exhibitors have labeled "Empty" will automatically be removed from exhibitors' booths, stored and returned at the conclusion of the exposition. "Empty" stickers will be available from the Service Center.
Damage to Property
Exhibitors are responsible for damage to uncrated or improperly packed shipments, concealed damage, loss or theft of material after delivery to booth or before material is picked up for return movement. It is expressly understood that the exhibitor will make no claim of any kind against the ASSE Exposition and Hall-Erickson, Inc. for any loss, damage or destruction of goods, nor for any damage of any nature to his business by reason of the failure to provide space for any exhibit or the removal of the exhibit.
Dismantling Dates and Hours
The exhibit hall will be open for exhibit dismantling from:
3:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 11
8:00 a.m.- Noon, Thursday, June 12
All booths must be dismantled and packed by Noon on Thursday, June 12. No exhibitor shall have the right prior to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 11 to pack or remove any articles on exhibit without the permission and approval in writing of the ASSE Show Management.
Exhibitor Admission Hours
Exhibitors with the proper Show credentials will be permitted in the exhibit area during the following hours:

Exhibitor Service Center
An Exhibitor Service Center will be located at the back of the hall for exhibitors who have not placed orders in advance or who require additional services.
Food, Beverage, Promotional Giveaways
Exhibitors shall not dispense or distribute any food, beverage or give-away promotional items without applying for and receiving prior approval of Show Management. Alcoholic beverages may not be distributed under any circumstance.
Illumination
All lighting in the exhibit must be arranged and operated so as not to be distracting to adjacent exhibits. All illumination deemed to be objectionable in the opinion of the ASSE Show Management shall be prohibited.
Installation of Exhibits
The exhibit hall will be open for the installation of exhibits from:
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Saturday, June 7
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 8
8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Monday, June 9
Exhibitors who will have authorized representatives present throughout the installation of their exhibits and will furnish the names of these representatives to Show Management at least 60 days prior to the Show. Note: Installation of all exhibit material must be complete by 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 9 and all shipping crates and packing cases must be ready for removal in order to allow sufficient time for a final cleaning prior to the 3:00 p.m. opening.
Insurance
Show Management strongly encourages you to insure your product from the time it leaves your office/plant until it is returned after the Show. In most cases, a rider can be added to your present policy for a nominal cost that will protect your property while it is out of your control. Remember, it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to insure his property. The ASSE Exposition, Hall-Erickson, Inc., their agents, the Las Vegas Convention Center, and/or their respective agents, will not be responsible in any way for the safety of any exhibit or material against theft, fire, water, accident, or any cause, nor for the loss or damage to goods consigned to its care.
Labor
The exhibitor agrees to abide by all agreements made between the unions, the ASSE Exposition, its agents or the Convention Center pertaining to the use of union labor at all times while in the Convention Center. This is especially pertinent to the installation and dismantling of exhibits or display and booth decoration. Also, the exhibitor agrees not to contract for or use any service in connection with this exhibit while in this Convention Center except such as shall be made available or approved by Show Management. The names of any persons or organizations other than those designated as official contractors in the Exhibit Manual, who are proposed for the performance of any service for the exhibitor within the Convention Center, will be supplied to Show Management 60 days prior to the Show for approval. Literature to Be Distributed
Literature, souvenirs, catalogs, printed matter or any other items to be distributed at the Show are subject to approval by the Exposition and any and all distribution must be made from the exhibitor's contracted booth space. Any material found objectionable by ASSE Exposition shall not be distributed.
Logos, Conference Logos
The ASSE Logo and the custom logo of this year's Conference may not be used unless it is the intent of the exhibitor to use the logo for the sole purpose to promote the Exposition and/or Conference in good taste. All use of the logo requires written approval of Show Management. The logo is available upon request at safety@heiexpo.com.
Merchandise Release Passes
All merchandise carried from the exhibit area must be accompanied by a Merchandise Release Pass. Passes may be obtained by showing your exhibitor credentials at the Security Office or Show Office.
Merchandise to Be Displayed
No exhibitor shall exhibit or permit to be exhibited in the space allocated to him any merchandise other than that specified in the Application and Contract for Exhibit Space.
Models and Demonstrations
The Safety Exposition has no objection to the use of models and demonstrators in exhibitor's booths, provided they are properly clothed and dressed in good taste at all times. The wearing of scanty costumes will not be permitted. The Show further requires that they limit their promotional activities, i.e., product demonstrations, dispensing of literature and/or product samples, to the confines of the exhibitor's contracted booth space. Exhibitor personnel wearing costumes or banners containing firm names must wear an outer wrap any time it is necessary to leave the confines of the exhibitor's booth.
Noise Levels
The operation of sound devices in an objectionable or distracting manner (in the opinion of the Show Management) shall be prohibited.
No Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted at any time during the Exposition or Conference.
Reception
The Safety Startup Kickoff Reception will take place Monday, June 9 from 3:00 pm-5:30 pm in the exposition hall. Complimentary soft drinks will be served during the reception.
Registration
We encourage you to register your booth staff in advance to avoid lines at the Convention Center. For those exhibitors who did not register in advance, Exhibitor Registration will be open during the following hours:

8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday, June 9
8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 10
8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 11
Sale of Products
Retail selling of products will not be permitted at any time.
Security
Entry to and exit from the exhibit area will be possible only through the main Show entrance and all persons entering and leaving must wear a badge issued by the Exposition or Show Management. All material leaving the exhibit area must be accompanied by a Bill of Lading or a Merchandise Release Pass, even if it is the property of the exhibitor removing it.
Show Colors
Black, Red, and Gold back drape. Black side drape. The aisles will be carpeted in Black.
Show Dates and Hours
The Exhibit Hall will be open for attendees the following hours:

9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 10
9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 11
Social Functions
No exhibitor shall conduct or sponsor during published conference dates any banquet, breakfast, luncheon, dinner party or other function for attendees without approval of the ASSE Exposition office.
Standard Booth Equipment
Space rental will include a background drape 8' high along the back line with side rails 33" high and a uniform identification sign 7" x 44" showing firm name and booth number, plus:
- Complimentary soft drinks during the Welcome Reception.
- Exclusive access to the registration database for pre and post-show mailings.
- 24-hour perimeter security.
- Access to the Exhibitor Lounge.
- Access to Conference Sessions. CEU credits are provided to conference attendees.
Subleasing of Exhibit Space
The rights of an exhibitor as outlined in the Application and Contract for Exhibit Space shall not be assignable to any other firm or person under any circumstances.
